June 3, 2019 Gurupaduka Pooja was organized in the college on June 3 in which all the staff members participated.
June 5, 2019 World Environment Day was observed. Students under Chinmaya Yuva Kendra and staff members distributed saplings of various species to the nearby houses and planted a few in the campus.
June 21, 2019 World Yoga Day was observed. Shri. Ramakrishnan, faculty of Hindi Department and yoga instructor conducted a seminar and demonstration class to the students. A session with various yoga postures was also practiced by the students.
June 23, 2019 The student members of CHYK under the guidance of Shri. Madhu P M, Faculty of Malayalam Department and Principal Shri. P Krishnakumar constructed a sea wall at Eriyad sea shore, Kodungallur.
June 26, 2019 The college souvenir ‘Smrithimalika 2018-19’ was released by the Dr. C A V Venugopal, Director of Education, CMECT.
July 1, 2019 An awareness class on mobile use and misuse and traffic rules was conducted by the Thrissur City Police. Many students participated in it.
July 4, 2019 The students were given an awareness class on the misuse of drugs by Shri. V K Raju, ACP of Police.
July 8, 2019 The newly constructed building at Chinmaya College campus was inaugurated by Thrissur Acharya H H Swami Gabheeranandaji. Dr. C A V Venugopal, Director of Education, CMECT. Dr. G. Mukundan, Chairman, CMECT, Principal, Chinmaya Vidyalaya and other members of the Trust participated.
July 9, 2019 An awareness class was given to the students on how to give first aid at various fatal situations by Shri. Ramesh of Police Department.
July 15, 2019 State Level Cycle rally conducted by the members of CHYK was given a warm welcome at the college by the students of the college.
July 16, 2019 Gurupoornima and Mathrupuja was together observed in the college. Mothers of several students came to the college and they were given the ritualistic mark of respect by their children.
July 17, 2019 The members of CHYK and other student service volunteers jointly cleaned the Marottichal forest area as a service to the society.
July 18, 2019 The promoters of the Malayalam film ‘Margamkali’ were given time to interact with the students and a film promo was also exhibited. The leading actors and actresses of the film participated the same.
July 22, 2019 During the Malayalam calendar month of Karkidakam, a seminar session based on the epic Ramayan was conducted for the students by Shri. Murali Puranattukkara, a leading religious propagandist, Guruvayoor Temple.
July 23, 2019 A ‘Life Enrichment Programme’ was conducted for the students by Shri. Ullas.
July 23, 2019 The Economics Association was inaugurated by Dr.K.M. Francis, Former Vice Principal & HOD, Economics Dept., St. Thomas College, Thrissur. The faculties of the department and students studying under the Economics discipline participated. Shri. Manoj Kumar, Faculty of Economics Department delivered the keynote address. Shri. Arjun, Faculty of Commerce Department was honored by the Director of Education for achieving the NET qualification. Various cultural programmes were also staged by the students.
July 25, 2019 The Language Association was inaugurated by Shri. Rappal Sukumaran Nair, Poet and Lyricist. The faculties of English, Malayalam and Hindi department and students participated. Various cultural programmes were also staged by the students.
July 26, 2019 The Kargil Victory Day was observed. Dr. Major Satheesan was the Chief Guest. Students in defense uniform staged skits to mark the victory day.
July 27, 2019 The 84th birthday of Dr. G. Mukundan, Chairman, CMECT was celebrated by the staff of college and vidyalaya at Chinmaya Balakrishna. The member Thanthri family of Guruvayoor Temple Shri. Chennas Dinesan Namboodiripad was the chief guest.
August 3, 2019 The Mahasamadhi Day of Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj was observed with the chanting of prayers by all staff members. A blood donation camp was also organized with the co-ordination of Indian Medical Association, Thrissur unit. Several students voluntarily donated their blood for the noble cause.
August 7, 2019 The Computer Association was inaugurated by Sri. Sureshkumar, NIC, Thrissur. The faculties of the department and the students participated. Various cultural programmes were also staged by the students.
August 13, 2019 The Kerala Flood Relief activities were done by the Disaster Management Team of Chinmaya Mission College by distributing the essentials to the victims of the flood at various camps in the nearby panchayats.
August 14, 2019 A vehicle with full load of essential provisions, cloths, first aid medicines, sanitary items, footwears, etc were taken and distributed at the worst affected area of Pothukallu, Nilambur
August 24, 2019 A unit of 25 students were taken to Aranmulla where the state famous Aranmulla Vallom Kali (Boat Race) is conducted to witness the same. They were also given the opportunity to participate in the Vallom Sadhya (a traditional feast).
August 26, 2019 The certificates for the participants of Eriyad sea wall construction was distributed by Smt. Prasidini Mohan, President of Eriyad Grama Panchayath .
August 26, 2019 The Endowment fund of Rupees ONE LAKH accumulated by the previous BCA students of the college was distributed to the poor and needy students.
August 29, 2019 The Commerce Association was inaugurated by Dr. Biju John, Associate Professor Research Guide, Dept of Commerce, St Thomas College,Thrissur. The faculties of the department and the students participated. Various cultural programmes were also staged by the students.
29th August to 4th Sept 2019 The Arts Fest ‘Sargotsavam’ was conducted for the students of the college from 29th August to 4th Sept 2019. The program was inaugurated by Sri. K U Krishnakumar, Principal, Guruvayoor Devaswom Institute of Mural Painting. Several students from various batches performed in Off-stage and On-stage programmes.
September 5, 2019 The state festival of Thiruvonam was celebrated in the college. Students in all batches participated by decorating floral carpet and other cultural programs. The traditional art form of Kerala Onathappan (Onapottan) was performed by the professional artists.

September 7-10, 2019 A three-day social service camp was organized in association with Kolazhy Grama Panchayath in the college. Several students and teachers volunteered the same by cleaning the public roads and canals.
September 7, 2019 A camp for the students of Chinmaya Yuva Kendra was conducted at the college.
September 16, 2019 The Prize distribution for the Sargotsavam winners was distributed by H H Swami Gabheeranandaji, Dr. C A V Venugopal, Director of Education, CMECT and Dr. G. Mukundan, Chairman, CMECT.
Night classes/remedial classes for the weak students and MCQ exams were conducted during the month of September.
The internal examinations for the students under Bharathiar University were conducted on October 3, 4 and 5.
October 10, 2019 A 3-day dance workshop was conducted for the interested students of the college. Several students participated. Renowned artists conducted seminars and performances.
October 17, 2019 The Global Head of Chinmaya Mission H H Swami Swaroopanandaji visited Thrissur for discourse on Bhagavad Geetha. The staff members of the college participated in the programme. The five-day programme was well co-ordinated with the participation of College staff and students. The students of the college under CHYK along with CHYK Co-ordinators volunteered their service at every point of the programme.
October 19, 2019 Global Head of Chinmaya Mission H H Swami Swaroopanandaji addressed the members of Chinmaya Yuva Kendra at Chinmaya Balkrishna.
October 19, 2019 Over 200 students of our College attended a discourse for professionals by H H Swami Swaroopanandaji– “Exceeding Excellence” at Kousthubham Auditorium.
October 20, 2019 H H Swami Swaroopanandaji addressed the staff of Chinmaya Mission College and Chinmaya Vidyalaya at Chinmaya Balkrishna.
Placement training was conducted on various dates.
November 22, 2019 The Social Service Scheme unit was inaugurated at the college by the Hon’ble Mayor of Thrissur.
November 26, 2019 A one-day training camp ‘Atmajagaran’ was organized for the teachers of the college.
December 3, 2019 The renowned poet and Jnana Peedham Award Winner Shri. Akkitham was honoured by the college. Academics Chairman Dr.G.Mukundan, Principal Shri. P Krishnakumar, Head of Malayalam Department Shri. Satheesan K P and other faculties presented a memento to the veteran.
December 3, 2019 Akshaya Pension mustering was conducted at the college.
December 6, 2019 A cover girl contest was conducted at the college for the leading magazine ‘Vanitha’.
December 18, 2019 A demonstration class was conducted for the students for empowering English language.
December 20, 2019 The language association organized a seminar for the students. Renowned writer Shri. Radhakrishnan was the chief guest and delivered a talk on “How to Write”.
December 23, 2019 Games competition was conducted for the students of the college.
December 27-30, 2019 Parivarthan 3-day residential camp was organized at the college for students. Over 250 students participated. Several sessions including arts, motivational classes and personality development classes were given by eminent personalities from various spheres. The very traditional art forms like Padayani, Mudiyettu and Kalampattu were presented for the students with the association of Kerala Folklore Academy.
January 2020 The college conducted athletics and other competitions for the students.
January 15, 2020 Shri. Madhu P M was honoured by the Social Service Scheme at Thiruvananthapuram for being the co-ordinator of the district for social service activities.
January 26, 2020 The college organized ‘Samavarthanam-An alumni Meet’ in which various students from the very old batches participated. The programme was inaugurated by H H Swami Gabheeranandaji. Present Wadakkanchery MLA and our Alumni Shri Anil Akkara was the Chief Guest. All the members of the Chinmaya Mission Trust, Thrissur participated in the programme.
January 30, 2020 The members of CHYK participated in the one day Youth Meet with Swami Swaroopanandaji held at Kasargode.
February 22, 2020 University of Calicut - SDE Sports Meet 2020
Our students participated in various events and scored 38 points and became runnerup. Sahana U S won the best athlet award in the Womens category.
February 23, 2020 Free Medical camp was organized at Chinmaya Mission college under SSS unit of the college on 23 February, 2020. More than 110 residents from the nearby 3 panchayats and seven divisions of Thrissur Corporation benefitted from the camp. The medical consultation was supported by doctors of various departments from IMA, IDA, Drishyam Eye Hospital, Govt. Medical College. The Chief guest of the program was Shri. Anil Akkara, MLA and the inauguration was done by Dr. Nissam Rahman (State Nodal Officer, SSS), Dr. G. Mukundan, Chairman, CMECT delivered the presidential address and felicitation was given by Dr. C A V. Venugopal, Director, CMECT. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Ramankutty, Trustee CMECT and Vice Chairman of Health camp. Shri. P. G. Unnikrishnan, Kolazhy Panchayath President and Chairman of Health camp addressed the meeting.
February 24, 2020 Nangyarkoothu was performed by Kalamandalam Haritha of SNA Koodiyattam Kendra.
February 26, 2020 Placement Drive was conducted in the College.
